I must say that America is by far one of the best places in the world to live. Freedom! Freedom! Freedom! People in other countries fight for it and we wake up smelling like FREEDOM. When President Bill Clinton put the "Don't ask, Don't Tell" into effect it was a great thing. Times were different and not everyone was so open towards homosexuals. People were not ready to fall out the closet, just yet. Although it wasn't so hard to pick out the Adam's and Steve's within the soldiers. The question was did it affect their job performance, NO! Did they give cooties to the other soldiers, NO! Did they have big homosexual orgies in the middle of formations,NO! None of those things happened and yet it took over a decade to say, its okay to be GAY an join the military. The part that has always been quite puzzling to me was the law makers in D.C. create laws to prevent discrimination and they are actually guilty of breaking the same law they created. It just as simple as this...you're either a good, bad, or mediocre solider period. You can't have sex on the battle field so why should it bother anyone who isn't in the military. What if we turned the tables on Congress and said no GAYS and start giving out urinalysis each month... watch how fast drugs become legal.
We could get into the entire ramification of homosexuality equal sin and blah blah blah blah but not today. I'll say this homosexuality and pre-martial sex both equal a sin.( that pre-martial sex is a hard one not to break) For those slow readers...if you have a baby daddy or a baby mama and your not married...sin. Adam and Steve or Eve and Cheryl....sin. All I'm saying is stop being so quick to condemn people based on one small aspect of their life.
